Abortion.io is operated by the administrator of the abortion.io service, reachable at [email protected]. By using the website you accept these terms. If you create an account or buy a plan for an organization, you confirm that you may act on its behalf.

Abortion.io gives general information about abortion laws, methods, costs, travel and support. It is not medical advice and not legal advice, and it does not replace a consultation with a doctor, another qualified health professional or a lawyer. Medical decisions are made together with a doctor.

Laws change. Every law card shows the law it is based on, a link to the source and the date we last verified it. Before you act, check the source and, where needed, ask a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction. The result of the legal options checker is general information about the law and not a decision about your situation.

Abortion.io describes the law, legal options and legal places to get care. It does not encourage anyone to act against the law of their country or state, and it does not sell, source or broker medicines.

Using the information pages, maps, guides, directory and checker is free and needs no account. You agree not to misuse the website, for instance by attacking its security, collecting data automatically in a way that burdens the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.

• The directory lists only providers and organizations that offer lawful care or support in their jurisdiction.
• Basic facts about verified legal providers may appear from public sources, such as name, city and official website, with the source and date. This editorial listing exists for patient safety, is free and is not a plan.
• Clinic data comes from official registries or the clinic's own information. Visitors see the source and verification date.
• We do not publish reviews, ratings or user counts on profiles.
• Placement on the Featured, Network and Enterprise plans is shown as part of the listing order where the plan includes it. Placement never changes the legal information shown to visitors.
• We may correct, pause or remove any listing that is inaccurate, out of date or not in line with these terms.

Before a claimed profile goes live, we check the clinic's license or registration with the official registry or licensing body, and the existence and contact channels of support organizations. You agree to give true, complete and current information and to tell us when a license, address or service changes. We may ask for additional proof at any time and pause a profile while we check it. Telehealth services are shown only to visitors in jurisdictions where they are licensed and where telehealth abortion care is legal.

You are responsible for what you publish on your profile and for its accuracy. You keep the rights to your content and allow us to show it on Abortion.io in all language versions for as long as your profile is active. The following is not allowed in any profile, message or reply:

• Unlawful content, or content that offers or promotes care that is not lawful in the jurisdiction where it is provided
• Selling, sourcing or advertising abortion medicines or any other medicines, pharmacy offers and links to medicine sellers
• Misleading claims about safety, outcomes, prices, waiting times or licenses
• Reviews, testimonials or ratings you wrote or obtained in exchange for a benefit
• Content that infringes the rights of others, including photos you have no right to use
• Personal data of patients

We may remove such content, pause the profile or close the account. Where we close an account for a serious breach of these terms, payments already made are not refunded.

An account is created with a work email and confirmed with a 6-digit code. Keep access to your email and your account secure, and give team seats only to people who work for your organization. You are responsible for actions taken in your account. Inquiries received through Abortion.io may be used only to reply to the person who sent them and to provide the care or support they asked about.

The plans, their prices and their limits are shown on the pricing for clinics page. Prices in USD are shown on pages in languages other than Polish. Taxes are added where the law requires them.

• Plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, paid in advance by card. Enterprise accounts can also choose invoicing with annual billing.
• Each organization has one subscription. To change what you get, you change plans.
• Monthly limits, such as inquiries, are counted as they are used in each billing month. Deleting an item does not return it to the allowance.
• When you move to a higher plan or to yearly billing, the difference for the rest of the current period is charged right away and the new plan applies once it is paid. A move to a lower plan applies from the next billing period.

Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, at the price of the plan at that time, until you cancel it. If we change the price of a plan, we tell you by email before the change applies to your next renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause the paid features of your profile until it is paid.

You can cancel your plan at any time in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active to the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that the paid features of your profile end. The editorial listing with basic public facts may remain for patient safety.

All payments are final and are not refunded, including when you cancel during a billing period, do not use the service, or move to a lower plan. We refund only in these cases:

• A duplicate charge for the same period
• A charge you did not authorize, once confirmed
• A billing period in which the service failed completely and was not usable

To ask about one of these cases, write to [email protected] with the date and amount of the charge. This does not limit any rights that mandatory law gives you.

We work to keep the website running and the information current, but we cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes a feature that is part of your paid plan, we tell you by email in advance.

The information on Abortion.io is provided for general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the information, for the services of listed clinics and organizations, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. We publish the new version here with a new date. If a change affects paid plans in an important way, we tell account holders by email before it applies, and you can cancel before that.
